Baby Naming at Beth Sholom

Fae gets her Hebrew name, Arela, at Beth Sholom (San Francisco) in a Baby Naming Ceremony on Saturday, October 29. Grandparents from both sides were present. Abba and Ema, paternal grandparents, flew in for a long weekend from New Jersey.

Fae loves to sleep, she looks so cute here.

We discovered early on that Fae is full of wonderful expressions -- in her sleep.

Fae arrived at 6:44 PM on Monday, October 17. She weighed in at 6 pounds 15.9 ounces (7 lbs) and measured 18.5 inches. Both Mom and Fae were very tired but were doing quite ok shortly after the birth.
